    Traditional Ryokan with welcoming hosts

Beautiful location away from the busy crowds of Kyoto, yet only a 30 minute taxi ride away. The host and her son were wonderful and welcoming. We enjoyed an authentic stay by the river and loved our meals. We also loved exploring the local temples, which were so peaceful and quiet. This stay was a highlight of our trip!

    That we didn't stay longer!

The location was peaceful and there we couple shrines nearby to explore. The hotel also has an onsen which was great for relaxing and the traditional japanese breakfast was great.

Experience a calm and peaceful hotel with old Japanese Culture

Wonderful peaceful riverside hotel just a short train ride away from busy Kyoto. The food was so good and the whole experience. Many beautiful sites near by walking distance. Lots of riverside restaurants near by but the hotel riverside restaurant was great to enjoy without going any where. This family owned hotel was fabulous in every way. They helped us so much with our trip.

Just need some hooks in the room to hang wet raincoats on by the entrance but there may have been a place at the entrance I didn't see. Instructions on how to use the kettle in English.
