5-minute walk to Taksim Square. It is suitable for solo travelers or couples, but not for families.
The host/staff was very accommodating—he stayed up until 3 AM to check us in and helped with our heavy bags. He even offered a complimentary late checkout at 2 PM, though our plans changed and we left early.
Taksim Rain Suite is ideal for a solo traveler or a couple, but I wouldn't recommend it for a family with small kids. A few things to keep in mind: No lift: Carrying heavy luggage up the stairs is difficult. Steep street: The slope outside the building is quite steep, which could be dangerous for small children or guests with disabilities.

Smell you Later!!!!
The area around Taksim Square & how the majority of locals made us feel welcome.
We arranged a check in time between 21-00-22-00 and we was still stood on the street at 22.45pm with the host not answering his phone and no on arrival reception. A neighbouring hotel had to make contact with them to say you had waiting guests outside the property. Eventually when entering the building and being shown to our room there was a horrendous smell of drains coming from the bathroom so there was a unknown situation developing, what would of happened when we have a shower or use the toilet. So we declined our stay, and furthermore we've been accused of offending the proprietor - what about our health breathing in such odours for our 3 day stay?? Also the balcony doors were wide open, so that sets off the alarm bells!! Declined a refund, because we OFFENDED HIM - We are happy for you to keep it and put it towards your maintenance costs, so nobody else has to witness this!! 👍

Location to Taksim Square, food outlets and shops was great. Salih was a friendly and helpful host.
Cigarette smoke from outside could be smelt sometimes, but not a major issue.
