    A little underwhelmed

    It was lovely and quiet, and suspect that on really warm days it would be lovely to sit outside. Location for beach is good, although you do need to drive.

    The front door was very difficult to lock and unlock. The large sliding doors out onto the decking had a notice on them stating not to use as previous guests had broken the runners (if this notice is left there then the next guests would equate that to me and I didn't break the runners) the notice should just read that the runners were broken please do not use. There was no signage or notes giving information about where to dispose of rubbish, how the lights worked or anything else to do with the property. There were only two wine glasses available and the property hosts up to 8 guests. Property details indicated lakeside view - there is no lake. The rooms were very dark. There were many flies in the property.

    We had a fantastic stay at Tall Pines and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The lodge was amazing—clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing break. The king-size bed was absolutely fantastic, and we had the best night’s sleep. One of the highlights for us was the secure, fenced garden. As I’m disabled, it gave me real peace of mind knowing my dogs could safely enjoy the outdoor space without any chance of escaping. The surroundings were so peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to unwind. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would definitely recommend Tall Pines to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We would love to come back again!
