    Perfect short break

    Loved everything about this cottage. Great location and had everything we needed for a comfy stay. Really comfortable bed and the outside table and chairs were spot on.

    Absolutely wonderful

    The property is really well situated, within easy walking distance of the town centre, pubs, restaurants and other amenities. It’s also really well connected for some great walks in the surrounding area. Vivien is a very attentive and helpful host. The property is really well equipped with everything you could need, including full kitchen facilities, a dishwasher, washing machine and cooker. There’s also a nice shower and bath, along with good Wi-Fi. All in all, a really enjoyable stay and I’d happily recommend it.

    Comfortable property for 2 people close to Cockermouth town cente

    Tanners Cottage is ideally located,near to Cockermouth town centre and for exploring the Lake District,The Cottage is well maintained,clean,comfortable and has feee parking,It has all the amenities needed for a short or longer stay,Its clear a lot has gone into the cottage milk and tea bags were provided for our arrival

    Lovely cozy nights and great daytime adventures.

    We liked the coziness of the property. Everything in the property is well placed and you can see thought went into make it a home. We liked the bathroom with the tub and shower as well as the kitchen with everything that you need. We particularly liked the small garden and took advantage of the barbecue to cook out dinners. The bedroom although being on the small side is very cozy. We liked the cleanliness of the property and the thought that went into the decorations throughout. The landlord lady was very helpful and let us check out a bit later when we had a bit of a bump in our road. Overall I would whole heartedly recommend this property to anyone that wants to spend cozy and private time. Give its locations you can access many spots across the Lakes. The parking in front of the property helps a lot to load/unload if you have a smaller car like us.
