A charming English cottage in a peaceful location near York

We really enjoyed our stay at Tanyard Resort. The property is beautifully situated in a peaceful and secluded location, yet York is only about a 15-minute drive away. The house itself has a wonderful, authentic English character, with charming details everywhere — narrow, steep and slightly creaky stairs, traditional door handles and lots of lovely little touches that made the place feel truly special. The kitchen was very well equipped, and both the Wi-Fi and TV worked perfectly. Above all, our host Michelle was incredibly kind and welcoming. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Fabulous stay & value for money

Fabulous stay! Michelle the host was very welcoming when we arrived at the property. The property was immaculately clean and as described on the booking. There were lovely touches of breakfast items in the apartment for us which was fab! The whole place was so quiet for a relaxing weekend. We even visited the local for cavery which was good. Overall excellent weekend just what we needed. Thank you Michelle.

Nothing it was ideal and value for money.
