  Apartment needs a little TLC

  The location of this property was superior. It was well stocked with supplies. It was in the heart of Taormina. Everything was just a few minutes walk to get anywhere in the town. Lots of restaurants and shopping right nearby. We did have a car for our stay and this property had private parking available if needed. That was a bonus to have the parking access as the property is in the ZTL zone with no cars permitted, but we had access to the parking and did not need to carry suitcases down the streets from a remote parking area.

  The apartment we stayed in was in need of a spring cleaning of leftover supplies from other guests and maybe some from the host. There were half empty bottles of bathroom supplies left in the shower from other guests I presume. There were an abundance of cleaning supplies in the bathroom that could have been stored in a cabinet in the apartment or in the parking garage beneath the apartment as I saw other cleaning supplies stored below in the parking garage. The washing machine did work eventually after really needing to work the door to close properly. The washing machine probably needs a technician to give it a good once over to fix the door lock so it would be easier to use by the guests.

  Great location was fabulous to have parking. Pictures must’ve been taking a while ago. Would be helpful to have a closet

  The location was amazing. Easy walk to Corao Umberto - the main street, the Greek Roman theatre, churches. Fantastic to have parking right on site although it was pricier than the garage which was nearby. The owner’s collaborator as he called him, was very kind assisting us when we got there.

  Did not expect to have to walk up several stairs from the garage on the street to go up two very steep levels of stairs in the dark hallway to go down several steep stairs into the kitchen of the apartment. This was not noted on the site and would have been a significant consideration due to physical challenges of our group. The pictures don’t show everything… there are cribs, high chairs, extra beds, and a lot of extra stuff taking up room in the property. The main balcony of the kitchen was pretty much unusable as it had some kind of drying rack and cleaning equipment. It seems a bit rundown there were cracks and holes in certain places and a lot of dings in the walls. There was lot more interchange with the owner than with the other properties that I have rented in the past..which took up time during vacation.

  Spacious apartment in great location

  The apartment was spacious and in a great location. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the piazza.

  Owner horrible.

  Do not book this place!

  Unfortunately, our experience at this property was extremely disappointing, primarily because of the way we were treated by the property owner. The check-in process was poorly communicated, and the owner did not provide clear instructions. He was not even present for our arrival and instead sent someone else to meet us who spoke very limited English. Unfortunately, we were given incorrect information, which made the check-in process even more confusing and frustrating. The communication with the owner became increasingly uncomfortable. His behavior toward us felt aggressive, confrontational, and, at times, like harassment and bullying. Guests should never feel intimidated or disrespected when simply trying to check into and enjoy a property they have paid for. We were also charged a $150 property fee. We left the property immaculate and treated it with the utmost respect, yet the fee was still charged. Given the overall experience, this felt particularly frustrating.
