A weekend in Tara
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tara, everything about Tara is excellent, comfortable beds, kitchen is well equipped, amazing views from lounge and front bedroom. Exceptionally clean. Anywhere you want to visit from Ventnor is easily accessible, it is very hilly, but we knew this, you wouldn't get the views if Tara was lower down, so you do need a car, unless you are extremely fit! The welcome gift of wine, biscuits and crisps was very much appreciated. Tara is based in a very peaceful and quiet area which enabled us to just relax and chill. Many thanks Tara 😊
There was just a couple of points, lots of messages around the house to remind you of leaving the house clean etc, I totally understand the reason behind this, but I didn't appreciate being reminded by txt and email of how to leave a property when departing, apart from that, we liked everything

Up in the world.
Beautiful house very clean. Everything you need, like home from home. Kitchen fully equipped and has everything you need (except coffee maker). Dishwasher & washing machine never used. There are plenty of draws & wardrobe space in all bedrooms. Nice pics on walls. Big tv. Very quiet location in a close. About 10 minutes walk going down turn left, & along there are some steps on the right that take you down to Ventnor. You need to be fit & have good legs, steep. It's worth it for a meal at The Spyglass Inn.
My advice is always to look at Google Maps to see where it is & how far from attractions/shops/beaches, etc. I didn't. You need transport at all times. (with a good handbrake, slope / quite steep).Settees & armchair quite low. Downstairs bathroom has nothing to hold onto to help you in & out of shower/bath. Heated towel rail did not work. Needs shoe rack in vestibule as no outdoor footwear allowed in house. Curtains in lounge by patio door at the end are gappy as curtain poles are not long enough & can potentially be a trip hazard the same as voile ones in the kitchen. The downstairs bedroom curtains also gape. Outside window ledges & when you open them need a good clean. Nothing major with house except the location. Prices at attractions can add up very quickly £100+.

A wonderful week in Tara!
Its location, space, and it was so well equipped.
The downstairs shower is probably past its best. It was difficult to get it to remain straight as it kept falling to the side.

Perfect place for a perfect getaway
The house gave us a feel it was more than a rental house but a home. Absolutely perfect for my family and I. The home is light and airy, incredibly well furnished (best I’ve been in by a long way). Also, I have to commend the cleanliness of the house. If there was a rating for perfect, I would rate it as such. Thank you for a lovely stay and wonderful gift basket on arrival!
If I really had to be picky, I’d say the mattresses were a bit soft for my liking but everyone else in my family prefer softer mattresses so they were perfect for them - maybe I’m the difficult one!

Very enjoyable
Clean comfortable and very well equipped
It’s on a big hill which made walking anywhere difficult
