The house is pleasant to stay in. It has three bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with a toilet, and there is also a washing machine in the bathroom. The garden is beautiful, fragrant, and a lovely place to sit and relax. The beds are comfortable, and the house is clean. The house is located in Halepa, close to Chania. It is about a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute bus ride to the city centre. A small grocery store, a bakery, and a café are all close by. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk away, and parking is available near the house. We were welcomed with bottled water, raki, and plenty of delicious fresh fruit. We were greeted by Mrs. Vagia, who was extremely kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay.
The house has a strong musty smell caused by dampness. Although it becomes less noticeable over time, it is always present. Because of this, we never unpacked our clothes during our seven-day stay. As there are no mosquito screens on the windows, the windows have to remain closed. Especially in the kitchen, the shelves are filled with many old decorative items. This gives the space a rather dark and dated feel and also takes up storage space that could otherwise be used for guests' belongings.

great place to stay
very nice standalone house in very nice and relax aria of Halepa very close to the see. just around the corner you find one of the best coffee corners couch. there is also A nice mini market with A luxury assortment. called Manolis. good food you eat at mama's kitchen just 2 minutes away from the house. The house is very clean and you have a lot of space to live in it.

The house was wonderful and had a wonderful garden. Our host Vagia was very helpful and gave us a lot of tips what to visit. The walking distance to the old town was 30-35 minutes. If you rent a car there's not a problem to park it near the house. If we visit Chania again we will definitely chose this house.
The only problem is that there is only one big bathroom in the house. There's a second one in the back yard which can be used but it needs renovation.
