Peaceful retreat to connect with nature, a nice surprise to have breakfast provided & home made jam
Private rural setting, native bush and bird life, a short drive to explore the many beaches, vineyards and places to eat. Chantal was very helpful and we would love to stay again for longer.

Love it!
If you need to de-stress, just book this place. Tauhou Matakana is stunningly beautiful and incredibly quiet. Chantel and the sweet dog Bertie made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The space is super clean, the furniture is high quality, and the breakfast was such a treat. You can really feel the love Chantel and Peter put into their plants and fruit trees. It’s easily a 10/10 for us. Highly recommended!
