  Beautiful large villa, close to the city, stunning peaceful views, good for families

  Loved the size and location of the property. Beautiful sunrises, large house, able to accommodate large family groups. Liked the ease of booking, good communication. A great place for families due to the space. Kitchen is huge and has a 6 burner gas oven which is great for cooking for large groups.

  Unfortunately we heard that previously some people had fraudelently rented the property and damaged it and stole the TV from the media room and all the linen. This was unfortunate as the kids had been looking forward to the media room. The owners pay a cleaner but I took photos and the shower drains were clogged, the oven tray was dirty, we didnt use the BBQ as this was also dirty. I would definately book this again but would like the owners to know as they pay for a cleaner. There were no tea towels, cloths or pot scrubbers so we purchased some and left it there for the next lot.

  Great family home to stay when visiting Tauranga and the Mount

  Beautiful big home for our whānau to enjoy. Comfortable beds, separate laundry room and spacious kitchen dining room opposite the water and close to shopping centre for groceries and eating out

  Turned up to house and there was another family there. We had been double booked. Couldn't get ahold of owners. They rang later, after we had left to try find something else. Very unfortunate and a stressful start to our stay in Tauranga. Not good! Luckily we had money to book something else. The other people weren't in a position to do so. We were offered compensation for the extra cost of the new house we had to book. But they wanted a invoice with a "zero balance" on it, as opposed to our Receipt from air bnb with "ALL" details of booking on it. To me it was like they didnt really want to pay the extra for us. So didn't get compensated at all. Just a sorry that didnt feel like they really cared. House was nice and a good spot. But it didnt matter as we had to leave.
