    Great stay, thank you

    Great location to explore Cushendall and as a base for the wider area such as the Gaints Causeway. Locally the Glenariff forest park and waterfalls is worth a visit, and the hidden Village of Galboly. The cottage was homely, clean and well decorated. Assuming all cottages are the same, the configuration was a twin bedroom with nearby family bathroom, and a double ensuite room with shower downstairs. Upstairs in the eaves is a room with 3 single beds and a toilet and sink. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery. Air fryer, cooker, hob, toaster, kettle, fridge, freezer and six person dining table. The bedding was good quality and the beds comfortable. The showers were powerful and warm, run from a combi boiler. Lots of nice touches like a small milk left, tea bags and coffee, embossed toilets rolls and some toaster muffins. We did have an area wide power cut while we were there. There was a torch in the house and some card games for entertainment. The owner was friendly and checked in via message, offering local advice and places to visit, and that we knew where everything was etc.

    We couldn't find a tin opener so had to leave some tins behind. One of the oven trays was too big for the oven. Having already put our food on it we had to put it in on a diagonal slope. Took a bit of ingenuity! More funny in the end.

    Our 2nd visit to Tavnaghoney, great location, beautiful surroundings, close to the whole Causeway Coast. Caroline and Padraig are attentive hosts. The kids love the scooters and space to play after a day out.
