Oodles of history in one building and area - nice staff and superb location, great weather too.
Lovely location, with heaps of history and beautiful landscape. Dinner was very good - small menu but that did not detract from the experience.
Some of the tiles in the bathroom were cracked and raised and I ended up hurting my toe. Nothing serious but maybe the floor should be retiled or at least the broken and/or raised one’s replaced.

Over priced ,poor food , lack of staff , rooms need sorting
Great location, I have stayed here many times in the past and always had a great experience. My last stay the hotel has changed ownership and most of the staff have changed. Really poor service although there wasn't enough staff. The food menu is really small and the food was pretty poor . My stay for 2 rooms with breakfast and we booked the restaurant for our food that evening was pennies short of £1000 I certainly wont be back. Disappointing to say the least .
Go back to the way it was before. more staff , better menu ,fix the rooms as they were in poor condition

Good place lovely loch location
Lovely location. Quiet. Pretty views. Good dinner and breakfast The suite was nice. Spacious with comfy bed.
Few maintenance updates could be done Didn’t like the beer and didn’t like that we were charged even when we returned it and less that I had to pay 12.5% tip on two returned beers.
