  Durham short stay

  Booked for a short 3 night stay to visit friends we'd made on holiday abroad. The house was lovely and clean and was a perfect base for our stay. Field and Fodder just a short way up the main road was perfect too for our breakfast!

  Everything was lovely, but just a small suggestion, maybe a small solar light outside the rear outer door to the back garden, as there are a couple of small steps that are tricky to negotiate in the dark, ( until you got used to the layout) other than that everything was spot on!

  Convenient and quiet place to stay when you are visiting Durham👍🏼

  Good size bedrooms, quiet neighbourhood and good facilities.

  Overall, the first impression was that the property looked nice with modern interiors. But there were areas that it could benefit from a deep clean. For example, the carpet on the stairs and the kitchen. The fridge freezer was a bit worse for wear as well. I could not fault the cleanliness of the bed linen and the fluffy towels though.

  Location, spacious bedrooms and the quiet area

  Previous guests had not moved out when we arrived. They left a lot of food stuff which we then had to bin. The outside bins were already full. Large cobwebs behind the downstairs toilet door area and at the front door.

  Geen idee. We kregen 2 dagen van tevoren bericht dat onze reservering was gecancelled en kregen een andere woning aangeboden op Cochrane Mew die totaal niet aan onze verwachtingen voldeed.

  We hebben compensatie aangevraagd bij Rest Easy Stays maar 2 weken later nog steeds geen bedrag ontvangen. Waardeloze club. Ze hebben een vervelende stempel gedrukt op ons verblijf in Durham.
