Quiet location, amazing breakfast and wonderful hospitality
The location is great, within walking distance of Nine Arch Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak. There are also plenty of good eateries within a 20-minute walking radius. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Ella town and genuinely feels like a world away, although the town centre is only a 5-minute ride. The breakfast is incredible. A great fruit platter, made-to-order eggs exactly how you like them, delicious Sri Lankan coconut pancakes, etc., all served with that signature Sri Lankan hospitality. Siva, the caretaker, was incredibly helpful. Full of tips and helpful ideas, he even accompanied us to show us a shortcut for one of our hikes. Overall, a really lovely place to stay if you want somewhere peaceful, but still close enough to everything in Ella.
The place looks a bit dated, the shower can be done better with a shower curtain etc

Heerlijke plek middenin het groen heel dichtbij het centrum.
Hele fijne accomodatie net buiten het centrum van Ella. Met de tuktuk, die om de hoek klaar staan, ben je zo in het centrum, terwijl je bij de lodge geniet van de rust, de groene omgeving en het uitzicht. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en uitgebreid en er zijn eekhoorns en vogels die je kunt zien vanuit je balkon of de ontbijttafel. Absolute aanrader!

super Unterkunft in der Nähe der Nine Arches Bridge und Little Adam's Peak
Die Tea Forest Lodge liegt etwa 12 Minuten mit dem Tuk Tuk von Ella, was für uns kein Problem war. Wir wollten fußläufig von der Nine Arches Bridge und vom Little Adam's Peak wohnen. In 2 Wochen Rundreise waren wir in kaum einem anderen Hotel, in dem das Personal so nett und hilfsbereit war. Selbst unsere Wäsche wurde gegen kleines Entgelt gewaschen. Unser Familienzimmer war einfach, aber zweckmäßig. Schöner Blick vom Balkon. Auch das Frühstück war super, das beste, das wir in Sri Lanka hatten. Dem Besitzer der Unterkunft gehört auch ein Massagesalon, den ich genutzt habe. Die Massage war gut, wenn auch nicht außergewöhnlich. Der Salon war einfach, aber sauber und der Preis super.
