Lovely spacious, peaceful house amongst fruit trees with great pool. We were an extended family of 6 and found there was plenty of space for activities together and time alone. Elisa and Concetta were very accommodating with our arrival and departure times and were always quick to respond to questions. The property is in a great, central location - we did day trips to Taormina, Noto, Ragusa Ibla, Ortegia, Modica, Marzamemi and Catania. We particularly loved getting fresh ricotta, eggs and cheese from the local NEAS dairy, wine tasting at Zisola vineyard, and walking in Vendicari Nature reserve and Cavagrande Laghetti Canyon.
The freezer didn't freeze things well although we were able to use the small freezer in the separate accomodation as back up.

Beautiful space for a relaxing family Summer holiday
Great location, beautiful space. High ceilings and pretty decor. Generally private and peaceful. Enough space for a big family. Fairly immaculate and very beautiful. Lovely air conditioning and the choice to eat outside or in. The location was perfect as a base for Noto, Syracusa, Ortigia, Ragusa, and more. There are so many things to do and see a guide book is a great idea, but also the pool days are very alluring! The space was much larger than we had anticipated, which was really nice - there are olive, lemon, carob, pomelo, pomegranate, cactus, almond and other fruit trees as far as you can see. Herbs and jasmine are planted around the building emitting a beautiful sweet scent as you move around the space. If you're really lucky you might spy a hoopoe! A special place.
A few tweaks - the freezer didn't seem to work properly and the WiFi didn't carry all the way through the property.
