A beautiful oasis in the Sicilian countryside
We had a wonderful stay at Olive Alive, the setting is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lovely grounds with a fantastic swimming pool that is perfect for relaxing while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay, warm, welcoming, and always happy to help, which really made a difference. One of the highlights was the breakfast. which was not expected , It was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high quality options.
A couple of small observations: the wellness aspect of the hotel doesn’t seem to be promoted very much and, in our opinion, isn’t really necessary given how attractive the hotel and grounds already are. We also felt that some of the furniture in our room, in particular the bed and wardrobe could be a little more stylish to better reflect the otherwise beautiful setting. Additionally, midges and mosquitoes were a bit of an issue during our stay—obviously not the hotel’s fault, but something to be aware of. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Olive Alive to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a stunning location with excellent hospitality.
