    Very nice apartment with an attentive host!

    Apartment met our needs- was clean and had a large living room. Our host Silvia was great- communicated every step of the way. She met us at check in to make sure we were in the right parking spot and specifics of the apartment. She also provided restaurant suggestions. The deck had a lovely view of the lake.

    The road that the apartment was located on was very busy- this made it more difficult to walk to the different paths that took us down to the center part of town. The apartment building had a couple of available parking spots (which we needed) but unfortunately we had to pay extra for the parking, although it was on the property.

    Very good

    The property was very nice with plenty of room for 5 adults. It is around 15 minutes walk from centre of Como. There is a pedestrian pathway but it is uphill on the way back and there are some steep steps and uneven ground which would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The other route is by the road with no footpath for part of it. The photographs don't do justice to the wonderful lake view from the terrace. Valeria was very helpful and provided extra blankets and some groceries without a problem. The heating in the property was lovely and warm even at end of October.

    The 1st night of our stay we were kept awake with very loud noise from the apartment upstairs. This noise drilling and hammering started around 6.30am on our last 2 mornings. The interior doors were mainly glass and were very noisy especially the bathrooms and late at night. Do not depend on getting taxis anywhere in Como. It is impossible. We tried numerous times on different days and none available. Two other groups almost missed our tour on the Bernina Express in Switzerland because they could get taxis to bring them to the pick up point in Como.

    Superb

    The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable for a family of five. The location was fantastic. We did not have a car, so we used the pathways nearby to walk into central Como. The view was amazing and lovely to sit on the balcony overlooking the lake.

    There was some noise overnight from construction in the apartment above us.
