  We loved the size of the apartment with its two balconies at the front, with sea views just slightly obscured by eucalyptus trees. There is also a seating area at the back, so sun ir shade is available throughout the day. We loved the location, so close to two small beautiful beaches. Tersanas is a tiny place with no shops, just a taverna, which had good reviews although we didn't make use of it, and a beach cafe, where we bought icecreams. We swam in the calm, clear water in the mornings and early evenings, when it was quiet. Both beaches can get busy. Our host, Aris, was very kind and provided us with a lot of food and drinks on our arrival. (This included peaches, butter, delicious cranberry and oat biscuits, chocolate croissants, eggs, bottled water, beer, a bottle of nice white wine, Greek toasts, and more. He also kindly brought us a television to replace the faulty one in the bedroom. The kitchen area was well equipped with a full oven and 4 ring hob, (although just one saucepan and a frying pan). There was a coffee machine, kettle and a microwave oven, also more plates, cups, glasses and cutlery than is often provided in Greek self-catering apartments. We appreciated the large circular table, chairs and two firm sofas with cushions and also, the two televisions, one in the seating area and one in the bedroom. There is ample wardrobe space, a comfortable but not very wide double bed and a nice shower. Good tiled flooring. Washing machine too, although we didn't use it. Clothes drying rack outside, which we did make use of. The garden area is pretty, and Aris kindly let us use a parking space to the side of the apartment.

  The military aircraft flying overhead, mostly on weekday mornings. The sound was deafening. We had realised there would be aeroplane noise as Tersanas is fairly close to the airport, but the military fighter planes were fast and booming. Also, Tersanas Beach Apartments is next to a hilly road, so there is some vehicle noise. Despite this, the place is incredibly relaxing. There were two things in the apartment I found difficult. These were the hot tap in the kitchen area, which, as a small aging woman, I found hard to turn off, and the sliding French window in the sitting room, which was very stiff for me to open and close. The apartment is slightly dated and the toilet could do with some de-scaling, but overall it was very comfortable and we would happily return next year.

  Bella la posizione, la casa meno

  Posizione. La casa è molto vicina al mare in una bellissima baia. La terrazza molto bella. I proprietari sono veramente molto gentili e disponibili

  Lo studio potrebbe essere molto migliorato. Cucina, troppo datata e non funzionale, se si vuole cucinare si fa molta fatica, il bagno non è stato di mio gradimento ed entrambi non corrispondono a quelli della foto. Il letto non è comodo ed è rumoroso. La pulizia potrebbe essere migliorata

  Vastaanotto oli aivan ihana. Isäntäväki oli todella huomioiva ja avulias. Uimaranta on ihan vieressä, mukava heti aamusta pulahtaa uimaan.

  Tähän vuodenaikaan oli tosi lämmin 30 - 34 astetta.

  Un petit bijou au pas très loin de Chania.

  L’accueil,disponibilité et la gentillesse de Arghyris et Maria. La proximité des centres d intérêts et de la plage. La quiétude du lieu.

  Idyllic

  We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Tersanas beach apartments. The location is simply stunning. Our studio had a huge balcony at the front with a sea/ beach view and a smaller balcony at the back which caught the morning sun. We also had sun loungers which was a nice touch. The studio itself was a really good size, larger than most that we've stayed in over the years. The property itself is set within a pretty garden and there is plenty of parking close by. The beach is beautiful, just a few steps from the property and there's a very good taverna further along the beach. Aris and his wife were wonderful hosts, very informative and hospitable. The beer,wine, croissants and water which they put in our room were very much appreciated. We had a fabulous time and would definitely return.
