Very comfortable stay , GREAT HOSTS
The host, Veronica, met us at the door & was very thorough with explaining the room details & what & where to go in Syracuse & Ortigia. We liked how quiet it was to sleep as we were away from the street. The breakfasts were very good & more than we could ever want. Veronica was so friendly & her English was excellent.
We were able to park outside the building on the street, but wouldn't have liked it if our car had been far away. You have to find parking on the street.

Property was in a very convenient location. Close to the old town but also with local restaurants and bars. The room was very clean with an excellent shower and comfortable bed. We parked easily on the street outside. The staff were very nice and super helpful.

Good comes with a little adjustment
The location is good, close to the station and a short walk to Ortigia Island. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The room is a good size, the air conditioning works, the bed is also ok. Not super comfortable but good enough. The decor is light and calm, nothing superfluous. The wifi works but the connection is not very good, it drops out sometimes. I didn't eat breakfast but I saw the selection, it was quite good. It was nice that there were a couple of bottles of water ready in the room.
Unfortunately, many small things were a bit shabby. The linen had a strange smell and the towels were quite worn. There were even small holes in the pillowcase. The cleaning of the bathroom was just satisfactory. The soundproofing is poor, you can hear noise from both the corridor and the street, where there is traffic all night. Earplugs help. If the goal is to be luxury, the details are decisive. For example, the tea bags. They were the cheapest quality, which did not taste like tea at all. There were two cups in the room, but no spoons. Just to mention a couple of details. Fresh smelling towels and sheets are a must. Really careful cleaning and attention to details could bring that luxury experience to the gues
