Location was great, very close to lots of activities we chose to do. Horses were all around us there which made us very happy.

Ceilings were very very low but we we're clearly pre-warned by the owner. It just took a minute to get used to 😅

We had a great short stay in Thatch Cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful inside and out, whilst being extremely well equipped with everything you could want for your stay. The low ceilings and staircases all add to the amazing character of the cottage. The garden is beautifully maintained and secure. The location of the cottage is outstanding. The New Forest's wildlife is right outside the property and the evening sunsets just add to the magic of staying here, along with the peace and quiet you can't always find in nearby Brockenhurst and Beaulieu. There is a very handy local store a stone's throw away from the property which has a good selection of food and drink. Sam was brilliant from the moment we booked, with great communication and easy instructions to follow for access to the property and facilities inside. We're definitely going to stay here again on our next visit to this beautiful part of the country.

    N/A.... can't fault it.

New Forest gem with morning visits from horses and ponies. Excellent host with great communication.

Just had 5 nights at Thatch Cottage. A fantastic base for the New Forest. The owner has provided everything you need for a stay, well equipped kitchen , so much information provided on local eateries and things to do. Lovely garden with outside furniture… we had breakfast outside every day. Nothing can be faulted. Read the details of the property before you go… a 200 year old cottage with its quirks and low ceilings… you will not be disappointed.

    Nothing
