    Pack your earplugs!

    Staff at reception were patient when asked to change the room due to external noise from the motorway. Staff in the restuarant were very attentive.

    No value for money. The majority of rooms here are located close to the motorway. The noise from this can be heard inside the rooms even with the windows shut. Even with a room change, the noise was just as bad as the first room. No ear plugs provided either. The gym is not up to standard, it's very basic and lacks equipment. The sauna was not on when I arrived, I had to switch it on myself and took 45minutes to get up to temperature but I understand it may be switched off for energy saving. The mattress on the double bed was old, worn amd noisey. I ended up staying in the single bed because it was more comfortable. Showers need to be updated, it's a bath with shower curtain. The shower head is far too low so any average sized person has to bend over to wash their hair.

    The location was excellent, it was very easy to get back to my destination. A bonus was not having to cross the M50. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room was lovely, the decor was modern and stylish. The breakfast was good, my poached eggs were cooked perfectly. The hash browns were not that fresh however we were one of the last to get breakfast. I will definitely return again…
