Lovely house, fab location, huge garden from which we followed the sun around. Secure if have dogs.

Lovely home, plenty of room and character + spotlessly clean. Big rooms and two bathrooms make life easy. It's on a road but it's very, very quiet. We loved the annuals from the 1970s and a trip down memory lane. Lovely patio with morning sun for coffee. Entrance is through the street at the back of the property. The gate to the garden and lockbox is set back from the road so look for what looks like a wee bit of spare ground directly opposite a sign for a B&B. Easy 5min walk to town where pubs and cafes are all dog friendly. There's an incredible golden sand beach on the other side of Carnoustie, through the other side of the firing range, which was empty in a sunny day in July bec it's a bit of a trail (watch the jaggy juniper bushes!). Pack water if you're walking from Carnoustie. (When you look on the map there's a train station near that beach but it's a limited service eg 2 a day.) All in all, we loved our stay here and would return.

    Nothing!

We will definitely be looking to book this property again next year

We went up for the golf tournament at Carnoustie so the location was absolutely perfect. The property was very cosy and had everything we needed.

The bed was a little small but that would be my only flaw.

Good size of accommodation, lovely garden with good parking

Having to pay £85 for cleaning then being asked to strip the beds before leaving. Bedrooms upstairs too bright - needs curtains. Bathroom shower doesn't drain properly.
