An enjoyable and comfortable night’s stop at the Alma Inn.
The location was great. Staff were helpful and friendly. The evening meal and breakfast we had were very good. The bed was very comfortable.
The room was quite small and only one of us had a view out of the high up window !The bathroom was in need of modernising , but it was nice to have a bath available!

It was how it changed through the day, Morning it was nice and quite Afternoon like a quiet country pub Night time a meeting place, a community social hub, With no late pub noise
Just been picky, some lower tables in the out door sheltered area, it would be nice if its wet, but wanted to sit out side, but not on high stools and tables The weather was fine, so enjoyed being in the open air

The Alma Inn was such a pleasant and cosy place to stay. The room was lovely, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We also had our evening meal booked here on our first night, and the food was absolutely incredible and delicious. It was a lovely place to stay for a wedding weekend, and we would definitely recommend it.
There wasn’t anything major we disliked about the property. The only thing worth mentioning is that the rooms aren’t very soundproof, so unfortunately we could hear other guests quite late at night, which disturbed our sleep on the first night. This didn’t take away from our overall experience, but it’s something guests may want to be mindful of.
