    Top plekje op het water

    Mooie goed gestabiliseerde woonboot met een mooie ruimte om te verblijven. Ligging is perfect..Bed is comfortabel en lekker veel kussens en extra dekbedden zijn beschikbaar. Fijn ook alle voorzieningen op de kamer. Communicatie via berichten is duidelijk

    Meer een tip.. wanneer de buren op het terras zitten kunnen ze via het hoge raam aan de zijkant waar geen gordijn voor zit, in de slaapkamer kijken en via de spiegel kunnen ze alles zien. Een luxaflex of andere raambekleding plaatsen die open en dicht kan voelt prettiger qua privacy?

    A Lovely Houseboat Experience, but Less Private Than Expected

    The terrace is absolutely wonderful. Sitting right on the water, watching the boats go by and enjoying a cup of tea was definitely the highlight of our stay. The room was smaller than I expected, but overall it had everything we needed and was comfortable enough for a short stay. Staying on a houseboat in Amsterdam was a lovely and unique experience. However, the one thing I missed was a sense of privacy.

    The owner’s accommodation is located right next to the guest room, and you naturally pass by it whenever you go to the terrace. Because of this, I sometimes felt more like I was staying in someone’s home as a guest rather than renting a private space for ourselves. This might not be an issue for everyone, but I think it’s worth mentioning, as the listing gave me the impression that we would have the space to ourselves. Overall, it’s clear that the hosts put effort into making guests feel welcome, and we appreciated that. It was a pleasant experience, just not quite as private as I had imagined.
