    One night stay so welcoming

    Nothing was too much trouble and the food was fantastic. We stayed for one night but was made welcome like old friends.

    For price paid, the room was just fine. The bedding was very creased and dare I say it a little 'tired' looking. Very '70's ! The meal in the evening was excellent; staff very friendly and efficient.

    Breakfast! I was in the dining room for 7.45am. There was a party of 8 of us. There was just one pot of coffee and one pot of tea, which sadly was cold. We did have to go an search for some one to ask for more. There was a buffet style breakfast which consisted of cold meats/cheese, pastries, croissants, cold bacon sandwiches, cold bacon rolls and some cereals. No toast or marmalade. Something warm would have been nice. ...

    Peaceful

    Mostly great! Had to ask for a second towel!

    Bed cushions a bit grubby. Kettle lid wldn’t stay shut!
