    Enjoyable welcoming cottage in a quiet part of Amble

    Fantastically decorated. Very clean open spaces , well furnished with comfortable seating and beds. Made to feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door.

    Maybe 🤔. Put in a wardrobe or 2 to hang clothes. But that is really petty considering everything else it offers.

    diappointing, oversold and overpriced.

    it was clean and basically ok.

    i was disappointed . There’s no doubt the property is basically ok, but not the experience as described. online. The sea view is hard to see except from an unfurnished bedroom, unlike the car park outside the front door. The kitchen is not quite adequately furnished and rather tired and certainly nothing to write home about.The kitchen lacked equipment (no sieve, mixing bowls, only one chopping board making it impossible to chop meat and veg), one blunt knife for all food prep and no knife sharpener or lemon juicer, etc) ,kitchen cupboards are tired and lacking maintenance. There is no suitable jo hanging space. Furnishings are adequate. In my opinion it was overpriced for what it was. There is a notice inviting us to contact the owner for any additional equipment needed.

    We had a lovely week in this clean and well located house.

    Location was excellent. We really appreciated the welcome scones and goodies! The house was clean and well organised.

    The lack of a washing machine was the only issue that was a slight inconvenience.

    Beautiful and comfortable cottage close to the sea and marina

    Excellent location, spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed and a wonderful welcome tea. We stayed in Summer but l think it would be cosy in winter. Private little outdoor seating area. The owner clearly takes pride in the cottage. It felt spacious with high ceilings and although on the street, it wasn’t noisy. Little beach directly opposite was perfect for a paddle with our granddaughter.

    We really couldn’t fault it.
