    A nice place to stay - great breakfast when it finally arrived

    Lovely hotel. Be aware some rooms in basement and can’t open window.

    The Angel Inn itself was beautiful, staff very helpful. We had drink and food here along with breakfast. All very good. Location fantastic.

    We were not in the actual hotel as expected. We were told we were in building across the roads which wasn’t expected but it was close so didn’t have any concerns. However, we were in the basement. It was dark and not very pleasant at all. We couldn’t reach the small window at the top of room. The family room was in two parts. The bunkbed area has no windows at all. The room was too warm which radiators on but we needed them to dry the wet clothing. Being in the basement meant the TV and internet didn’t work very well at times also. I think when booking we should have been told by booking.com or the hotel itself that we would be in a basement room. Sadly it did impact our stay.
