    Excellent base to explore fascinating area

    Excellent location for exploring the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. A very cosy, comfortable and private little annexe for two. The host was friendly and helpful but never intrusive. Would happily return.

    Beautiful self-contained annexe

    A beautiful, self-contained annexe that is not attached to the main house. Plenty of secure parking. Communication prior to our stay was great and we were welcomed personally by Susan. The Annexe comprises of a living area/kitchen/diner with a separate bedroom, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. We were left with tea, coffee, sugar, milk in the fridge and some delicious home-made cakes. There were fresh flowers on the table, giving it that homely feel. The bed and pillows were comfortable and we slept well. Guests can take a walk through the garden into a private area of the old railway line. I left something at the property and Susan has kindly offered to take it to our friend's house in the next village.

    We couldn't fault anything.

    Brilliant location for a short break

    How close it was to the Forest of Dean, value for money, help with storing our bikes and welcome lemon & blueberry cupcakes were a lovely touch
