Gorgeous old pub, lovely staff, generous breakfast, easy parking, good menu. Have stayed upstairs previously, which is nice.

Previous stay was fine but this time I was put in a ground floor room which was not the one shown in the picture. It was next to a loud banging door and under the stairs with people stomping up and down. The curtains were hanging down and did not close so people outside could see in and the room lit up with every passing car. The shower was not usable - no pressure and the best setting just gave me a minute of freezing cold alternating with a minute of scalding hot.
