    Beautiful space, responsive host. 10/10 experience!

    Totally enjoyed my stay at Avery Apartments. Beautiful space, responsive staff. I took a walk around the area around 10pm and I felt very safe. Overall 10/10 experience.

    Mouldy bathrooms, an unpleasant smell, and disappointing customer service

    The accommodation was very spacious. Aside that everything else was very poor.

    The bathrooms had visible mould and a strong, musty smell. The refrigerator in our apartment also had a terrible odour, which we reported to the on-site manager. She sent a cleaner, but the smell persisted after cleaning. When the manager came to inspect it herself, she offered no further solution and told us to find alternative accommodation. This was only the second day of our eight-day booking, leaving us to arrange somewhere else to stay ourselves. What disappointed me most was her response when we settled the bill for our two-day stay. She showed little concern for the inconvenience we had experienced and instead remarked that our full eight-day stay would have helped her reach her monthly sales target. This left us feeling that meeting her target mattered more than our comfort or resolving the problems we had reported. Based on the cleanliness and customer service we experienced, I would not recommend this property.
