    Amazing food and an otherwise pleasant stay, unfortunately ruined by a serious bug issue in two of our rooms.

    Overall, we were quite happy with the accommodation and particularly impressed with the restaurant, which served an amazing dinner and breakfast.

    Unfortunately, things took a very unpleasant turn the next morning. Our booking included one quadruple room and two double rooms since we were a group of 8 friends. Sadly, both double rooms appeared to have a serious bug infestation, possibly bed bugs. Two out of the four guests staying in the double rooms woke up covered in bites. One had at least 30 bites across his torso and body, while the other had at least 10. We had noticed some tiny red bugs in the rooms, but since the windows were open when we arrived, we assumed they had simply come in from outside. Unfortunately, it seems that wasn’t the case. We’re genuinely sorry to leave this review, especially since we enjoyed everything else, but this is a serious hygiene concern that needs immediate attention. One of us was allergic and our next day destroyed due to that. Please arrange for a thorough pest inspection and treatment as soon as possible.

    An affordable place to stay which offers good food and is close to places to see

    The staff were friendly and helpful.

    The room was rather hot as I could not change the thermostat.
