Everyone was so helpful and they made us feel like family. They helped us plan our transportation for sightseeing days

It was quiet and off the beaten path but close to everything! Especially the coral reefs!

Loved everything! I do wish we would have taken the advice and used/rented their scooters!

Bangka Beach Resort honestly exceeded our expectations. ❤️ We came from the busy and noisy side of San Juan and travele

What I loved most was the peaceful location, beautiful surroundings, clean and spacious rooms, and the pool right in front of our cabin. But what really stood out was how warm and welcoming the owners and staff were—they made the whole place feel like home.

    Could not recommended.

Nice pool. Lovely friendly staff and owners who were clearly knowledgeable about the island. Allowed early check-in. Comfortable bed.

Kids screaming in the pool for 5-6 hours during the day, meaning we could not enjoy, therefore we only manage to get in an hour before it closed! If you were sat on your porch, then you were constantly splashed by them. There was a physical altercation around the pool between a prostitute and an Australian visiting the bar and the guy who'd had the physical altercation was allowed to stay at the bar and drink excessively, making us feel very uncomfortable and was a key factor in us leaving early (we stayed 1 night and had booked 8). The lighting in my room was quite unbearable: you either had extreme bright white light or darkness. A warm light lamp does not cost a lot and my friend had one in her room. It actually made a lot of difference. There were no bedside lamps either so I had to read using my phone. The shower was a dribble of cold water. We bought breakfast the day before when they did allow us to check in early, but then when we got the free breakfast the next day, it was awful to be honest. It went from a full breakfast that we (over)paid for to dry scrambled eggs on toast and powdered orange juice. Also I was served pineapple juice in a can, which seems like a crime somewhere where tropical fruits are available. Generally the food quality was pretty substandard and massively overpriced. In relation to the price of the food, I paid over ₱1,000 for a breakfast, a dinner, and a couple of drinks. To give perspective I paid less than ₱8,000 in the high-end resort we moved to for 7 nights eating two meals a day and lots of mocktails, not from a can! We were very much overcharged for the journey from Siquijor port (we paid 1500 pesos for a tuk tuk and to return in an air conditioned car it cost 700 pesos for a longer journey). Guests visiting the bar have to walk past the pool and your private space to get there, so really there is no privacy. There was no way to lock our rooms from the outside. Also there is nowhere to lay down and recline and relax. .
