    Lovely but noisy location Kind

    We liked the lovely roof terrace where we sat out reminiscing about old days. We liked the thoughtful touches in the kitchen. We loved the really comfy beds.

    The location was very central but in my room overlooking the street there was the constant sound of a generator and intermittent drilling all night long. As a single parent, I was so looking forward to a great night's sleep but this didn't happen despite the comfy beds. I closed the windows to keep out the noise but it didn't help. My friend who had room next to main bathroom was also kept awake by the noisy extractor fan outside her room. For this reason, we wouldn't stay here again. So don't forget your ear plugs. I also think that the £250 security deposit was rather steep. I host an Airbnb and we don't charge this to our guests.

    Fantastic location & beautiful apartment. Very well equipped, and some lovely finishing touches which were very welcoming! (hot chocolate with marshmallows & biscuits, complimentary shower gel & body lotions on the bed, toilet rolls folded hotel style! A little packet of sweets on the pillow...). Fans were provided and the apartment was nice and airy with a lovely breeze coming through. The terrace is perfect for sitting out in the evening sun with views of the marina. Great access to bars and restaurants & very helpful hosts! There is no nicer place to be than Plymouth Barbican in the sunshine!
