    The location to the city centre was great as t only a short walk

    It was looking a bit tired and I felt it needed a good tidy up inside & out

    I would go elsewhere-worst place we stayed at on our UK holiday

    The convenience-it was right next door to the canal boat hire company.

    The carpet was filthy, the bed and pillows were thin and lumpy. There was dog poo at the entrance that wasn’t cleaned even though another guest had complained and some of the staff seemed grumpy

    Clean and comfortable, excellent food and service, all in a great place to visit.

    The room was lovely, the service was helpful and friendly, and the food was very good. The property is in a very good position, right next to the canal and within an easy walk of the town centre. We were able to walk to all the sights, and also had some excellent meals in town.

    If we had wanted to eat or sit out in the garden, we might have found it disappointing - but we didn't.
