    This property is full of character and the location is great. We were surprised at how large the space was. We loved looking at all the quirky decor and furnishings, it really is 'Daylesford ' 💖

    Whilst the property is quirky and we loved the character, it lacked a little finesse in areas. Suggested areas to improve are: - The 2nd and 3rd showers (shower 2: located in a dark corner under the stairs... showering in an old freestanding bath with a shower curtain was not functional or enjoyable. Shower 3 was particularly small with a low shower head). As a result, all 5 of us took turns using the main bedroom shower. - Perhaps a welcome basket of some local produce for a homemade breaky.. or atleast a milk in the fridge would have been appreciated. - The main living TV didn't have free to air TV. - Electric blankets on the beds would be ideal for those cold nights. - The bath plugs looked like they hadn't been replaced in 20 years. Whilst quirky is fun, old cracked bath plugs that could simply be replaced for a couple of dollars doesn't add to the character of the home. - Whilst the property is pet friendly, there were dog droppings in the garden from previous occupants. This property is an experience, and we expected a character home, but there are areas of improvement required to make this place amazing.

    Cozy, quirky barn

    We loved the quirky nature of the house, the heating and warmth of the main room, the lovely courtyard garden, the comfortable beds and the location.

    The window shutters flapping about in the wind and not being able to be secured, the dishwasher not working, the shower soap dish in the loft bedroom not being cleaned properly and the strong smell of gas by the gas meter.

    We all loved the space and was great to be able to bring along our dog.

    The interior of the building is exceptional. Very well curated with art, furniture etc with feeling too contrived at all.

    No laundry (that we could find?) BUT it gave us an excuse to switch off anyway! We used the laundromat in town once. All good!
