    Lovely cottage, ideally located for Shilstone House

    We booked for the weekend to attend a wedding at Shilstone House so, being only a 5-10 min drive away, was a great location. It was well enough equipped with enough space for the 5 of us for the weekend. We had a problem with the front door handle that broke, but Alex at the property management company was very friendly and helpful and got it fixed for us very quickly.

    Loved the character of the house and the facilities

    Was absolutely freezing upstairs, the heating didn’t seem to heat up the bedrooms

    We all thoroughly enjoyed our few days.

    Comfortable, cosy & warm. Nicely decorated & furnished. Kitchen very well appointed, quality crockery & glassware. Great location, a few minutes walk from The Ship.

    Possibly would need a stair gate at the top of the stairs.
