Accommodation is ok, but very controlling and discriminatory hosts.
The accommodation itself was ok, and value for money is good. The location is also near to the beach, so very nice.
I had a mixed experience at this property. While I was able to stay for three nights without any issues, some of the owner's behaviour made me feel uncomfortable. On one occasion, a friend dropped me off in front of the accommodation and briefly greeted the friend who was staying with me. My friend did not enter the property, yet I subsequently received a message from the owner telling me that visitors were not allowed. This felt unnecessarily intrusive, especially given that the interaction took place outside. More concerningly, when I asked to extend my stay by one night and mentioned that a different friend would be staying with me, the owner asked whether my friend was Sri Lankan or foreign. When I answered that my friend was Sri Lankan, the owner told me that they could not accommodate Sri Lankan guests. Sorry, but this kind of discrimination is simply not acceptable.

Best Internet and Breakfast. Value for money
Hands down the best internet of our entire Sri Lanka stay. Sri Lankan internet sucks, but at this place, it was far better than elsewhere. I was finally able to back up all my videos on Google Photos. The breakfast was also the best we had. We did have similar breakfasts elsewhere, but the quality and presentation were the best here. The decoration was really nice. It is one of the best homestays. In Sri Lanka, you can't find a PickMe tuk-tuk if there's a tuk-tuk stand nearby; it's a syndicate. However, this house's location was good, so we didn't face any issues finding a PickMe tuk-tuk. The host was good. She single-handedly manages everything, so we didn't bother her much.
The washroom was not up to the mark. It was also a bit smelly all the time. If the rooms are 10/10, washroom would be 6/10.
