Enjoyed overall - staff training required
Location, style & room
Breakfast a bit of a shambles. Staff need training. Since raised with management & resolution achieved.

it is a good location to stay in but don't stay in the sycamore room if you are older
location
our room was up two extremely narrow and steep staircases. Being in our 70's it was quite dangerous

Mostly nice but one or two issues.
Great building, massive and comfortable bedroom with decent facilities. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Good location for Burford and Cotswolds in general. Fantastic garden view. Great shower.
First breakfast was a disaster. Young waiting staff were very friendly and definitely trying their best but lacked a but of professional guidance so service was hit and miss and a little slow. Poached egg was hard and toast undercooked. Other than that, the meal was perfect. Second breakfast was a much better experience as their was a more experienced staff member present. We had booked dinner at the restaurant for the second night but changed our minds once we saw the menu due to lack of choice. We fancied a Sunday roast which wasn't an option so went elsewhere. Room was mostly clean although we did find a fingernail clipping on the bathroom floor.
