    Very Cosey little cottage for a short stay in a lovely location

    Location

    Only negative was the bed was extremely squeaky and noisy every time you moved a tiny bit the sound was very loud. Suggest a solid base?

    Food was excellent. Surround countryside is gorgeous. Great old country inn vibe.

    A ferocious amount of stairs and doors for such a small place. Difficult to move multiple full size suitcases in and out. No help was offered. Mattress is as thin as one you'd find on a fold out couch. Room is pretty small.

    Beautiful stay

    We had a wonderful time at The Bear Inn. The room was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfy—it felt like a real home away from home. The bathroom was just as impressive: spotless, stylish, and clearly maintained with great attention to detail. ​On top of a lovely room, the food was absolutely exceptional. Every meal was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning!

    The only thing, and very small thing, the shower was a bit of a non starter but I expect that's due to the old pluming from the beautiful old pub. Not a big deal, it got you clean!
