    Nice hotel in a lovely village.

    The hotel is situated in a lovely old building, the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast choice was good and well cooked. The staff were all helpful and friendly.

    The room was not overly warm and it would have been nice to have had the central heating available. Except for fire instructions there was no other information provided in the room, for example it took some while to find the switch for the electric towel rail which was hidden in the wardrobe.

    Die Bar und die Gegend fanden wir sehr anprechend.

    Wir wurden erst bei Ankunft darüber informiert, dass das Restaurant keine Abendessen serviert. Auch gab es in der Umgebung kein anderes geöffnetes Restaurant, nur einen Fish&Chips Take away. Zumindest konnten wir das Essen dann in der Bar einnehmen. Das Frühstück dagegen war gut.
