Access to the free parking is easily reached from London Road towards the property's driveway. The driveway can look narrow, but there is sufficient room for a normal-size car or small van. If you are driving something bigger, then please contact the hotel in advance of your stay to make alternate arrangements. Exceptional friendly and helpful staff, fantastic breakfast and lovely rooms
The room was very clean and tidy. Having tea and coffee-making facilities is always an additional bonus, especially as a slow traveller. The bed was extremely comfortable. The TV had extra apps and Bluetooth capabilities, which was fantastic. Plenty of storage and coat hangers were fantastic. The sink in the room with a large mirror meant that the bathroom was of a good size. The ironing board and iron in the cupboard came in handy. The breakfast in the morning was made to order; I was asked when I checked in what I would like and roughly what time I would be at breakfast. The salmon and scrambled egg bagel was fantastic. I was able to get an orange juice and coffee as well. The breakfast offerings also included cereal, yoghurt and toast. I was given instructions on the best direction to come from to access the driveway to the secure car park at the back of the property. I was pre-warned that the room was at the front of the property, which is on the main road and might be noisy during the night. However, by 10:00 pm, there was hardly any noise from passing cars. The first time I next noticed any traffic was at approximately 06:45 am.
