We stayed for one night here to visit Blenheim palace as it was so close, we were warmly welcomed on arrival and showed to our room which was lovely and cosy and comfortable. It was a Saturday evening and we hadn’t booked a table for food but they kindly squeezed us in even though they were very busy, the food was very good as was the breakfast the next morning, there was a continental breakfast laid out and we had the choice of full English or different types of eggs, we chose to have omelettes which were delicious. All in all it was a great place to stay and I’d highly recommend it.

As previously responded, we cannot review this hotel because when we arrived after receiving confirmation of our booking and payment the hotel was closed so we had to find last minute accommodation elsewhere.

Our stay was enjoyable but access to the upstairs cottage room was not easy but once there the room was nicely furnished. The bathroom did not have a shower or shower attachment on the bath. The lampshade on the standard lamp had fallen of its mounting. The worst aspect was that outside the cottage wisteria had been allowed to grow accros the room window so that the was virtually no natural light.
