    Great stay, great climb up Scafell Pike and a nice place to chill and eat after.

    Loads of character, beautiful views and perfect for climbing Scafell Pike.

    Washing machine and very warm in the main bedroom.

    Uniquely fantastic!

    We loved the remote location, the uniqueness of the property and the stunning views. It provided every ounce of peace and quiet we hoped for and was a great location for getting to where we needed to be for our hill climbs.

    Just a small thing because we wouldn't usually need to watch the TV - it was only because the England v Holland match. There was no access to terrestrial TV channels (which would have meant we could watch the match without a problem) and the streaming platforms available just kept buffering which meant we didn't get to see any of it on the TV. Instead we sat on the floor (our plug wouldn't fit in the plug socket next to the coffee table and the cable wasn't long enough to reach the other socket) and watched it on a small laptop screen using a wi-fi hotspot.
