    Really happy with our stay. Cosy, comfortable, and a good location

    The Blue Cottage had ample space for four people with a good sized kitchen/dining area as well as sitting room, two loos, a bathroom with a pumped shower, and comfortable beds. A well equipped kitchen meant we could cook when needed, and the heating system worked well. There's a nice walk over to Low Coniscliffe and back along the river if you need to stretch the legs without getting a car.

    Little bit nervous about parking outside, half on the pavement, as the road is quite busy so being able to park around the back was appreciated, though a short walk required. Some road noise in the front bedroom when sleeping with the window open.
