Good breakfast, good size room, good location. old but good.

Small car park, would probably be hard to find a space in busy months during summer.

Completely satisfied with this property and staff best 3 days for years will be back next year.

After booking I had enquired for a room that would suit as I have difficulty walking with 2 sticks.when we arrived our room was a ground floor across the courtyard with a bath and a walk in shower. Was so grateful. Well worth the small walk across the courtyard for breakfast and the bar. All the staff were very helpful and friendly . Thank you. T. H.

    Welcoming, friendly, great value.

The staff were very helpful, nothing too much trouble. The restaurant staff were polite, friendly and always obliging. The room was clean, cosy and had everything we needed. The hotel itself is a beautiful building with nice dining rooms, bar area and a classy lounge to relax and chat with other visitors. Food was delicious. Drinks a bit on the pricy side but where isn't these days. Sad that it is up for sale along with most of the village and castle, apparently. Hope whoever buys it will continue without many changed.

If I have to choose anything I'd say a pound or so off the price of a pint!
