    A little gem

    The views were gorgeous. Sitting on the balcony for breakfast, drinking coffee while watching activity on the lake and the trains go by. Has a coffee pot to make your own filter coffee. The apartment had everything needed including the use of a washing machine, and a drier if the weather is wet. Clothes line on balcony. Comfortable bed. The walk into Interlacken and the train station is a beautiful walk the other side of the lake.

    There is nothing I didn't like, but just to note the balcony is very small, and the shower is very small, so not ideal for larger people. We are both small and would stay again.

    Not welcoming

    The views. Swimming in the water. Clean apartment

    Getting there was a challenge. The people in the area are NOT friendly. There is a very tight one way stretch that is controlled by a light, wait for it to turn and then you go. The people who live there do not listen to the light and go when they want. There were numerous times when it would turn for us, we would go and get almost to the end and someone would come and they would yell and wave at us to back up. One of the times a local was walking her dog when we were having to back up and she started yelling at us that we did it wrong…even though we were in the right and she had no idea. In the manual it says there is a kayak for you to use, you can’t use it for very long before it starts to fill up with water due to a hole somewhere. In the manual it says there are two bikes we can use, one of them the seat can not be adjusted down for a high height and the others brakes don’t work very well.

    I would definitely recommend staying here!

    The property had everything we needed. We absolutely loved sitting on the deck with the beautiful river and mountain view. So relaxing! I also like that they had a washer and dryer for our use!

    The shower was super small, but it still got the job done. Air conditioning would have been great, but I totally understand they typically don't even need it. It just happened to be a very hot summer for Switzerland this year.

    Stunning views, felt very authentic and homely

    Lovely little boat house. Stunning views from the balcony looking out over the lake. Loved being able to sit out to have breakfast and in the evenings for a drink. Had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The welcome book was very helpful. A little walk to the train station but bikes provided cut down this time and were a great option for cycling around the lake. Could walk to the ferry and Harder Kulm funicular stations easily.

    Shower was a little on the small side but was warm and powerful. Would recommend getting a taxi from station to the boat house with cases as we struggled a little in the heat (we were there during a heat wave). We used the taxi service recommended in the welcome book to get a taxi back to the station on our last day and this worked perfectly.
