    We love Westport and have stayed a few times. The Boat Shed is now our favourite and we'll be back!

    The Boat Shed is a custom designed holiday accommodation with kitchen/dining on the ground floor and a gorgeous living room upstairs looking out towards Croagh Patrick - through a native hawthorn tree reminding us of our Irish folklore. We loved the stroll into town and sometimes took a taxi home so as to skip the hill walk. The Boat Shed is roomy and well designed, very comfortable for slow breakfasts and late suppers after days of hiking and cycling. Jean met us when we arrived and couldn't have been more charming and helpful.

    Very little... I would have liked more cooking utensils eg a frying pan for eggs, and perhaps an oven dish. I did think the knives weren't great and would probably bring my own next time.

    Beautiful property on the edge of Westport town.

    The boathouse is a unique property with amazing views of Croagh Patrick. We were two families traveling together with 7 and it fit all of us comfortably. The space was clean and had everything we needed to bake cookies to making shepards pie. I highly recommend. Michelle, the hostess was so sweet and accommodating. We had a great time and highly recommend.
