Highly recommended
Everything and all!! The place is well thought, equipped and very comfortable, the lake and it's views!! Exploring surrounding area, tea on top of the mountain overlooking valleys, walks through forests, fishing in the lake.. A place to connect with your inner soul. Staff very helpful and on the call at anytime, we were provided with and old land rover (so much fun!!) to explore the mountainous region and not to worry of damaging our own car. Small town nearby but I would recommend bringing all the supplies you may need so not to waste time going in&out. Toilet is an outside building (connected to the boathouse) very well done, very clean and comfortable.
Nothing. But if you want to be really picky could use with extra hooks inside the property to hang or dry clothes.

The perfect getaway to connect with nature and rebalance yourself.
The Boathouse is privacy and peace. It’s quiet luxury masquerading as off-grid but where you don’t ever feel like you are going without anything. The location, the view, the simple elegance of the architecture all provide for every need you have. The staff are a family, welcoming you into their home and their lives.

The boat house was very private and the scenery was amazing. We both enjoyed the row boat and the fishing. The boat house had everything we needed including logs for the oven and hot tub, water, binoculars, towels, dressing gowns, board games and more. We enjoyed the hot tub and we used their 4WD which my partner enjoyed driving each day! We met Alice when we arrived, she was very welcoming and she escorted us to the boat house. We had service on the balcony of the boat house to make phone calls, no service but we knew this. Overall a lovely experience and we will definitely be back.

Perfectly remote
The location was amazing. So remote and isolated from the world.
The compost toilet took some getting used to but was fine after we got used to it.
