    Enjoyable and peaceful, would return if back in area

    Pleasant 3 day stay.

    Pleasant stay, the boathouse is spacious, well-equipped and has everything you might need, even spices, coffee, tea. The bed is comfortable. The hosts are helpful, free welcome eggs are a nice touch. The car can be conveniently parked next to the house. Nature and the lakes in front are very pretty. Elgin with many supermarkets is only 10 minutes away.

    I knew there might be people fishing or camping around but they were frequently walking in front of our windows and their toilet was in front of the bedroom window so it could be loud especially early in the morning. The floor in the bedroom was terribly loud and the shower doors were leaking a bit. BBQ facilities were advertised in the description but they were unusable really.

    Perfect fly fishing escape

    I've scored it so high due to the bias of being a fly fisherman and visiting for that purpose, that being said I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodation, there was plenty of space and it was very clean, the fishery is very well maintained and full of hard fighting fish. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I will certainly be back.

    I genuinely couldn't find much to fault but if I'm nitpicking the shower floor mat can be very slippery on the tiled floor in the bathroom when wet, I nearly fell a couple of times.

    The Boathouse was clean, warm and spacious. The view was lovely, the shower was great and the TV was a good improvement. The eggs and fruit were a nice touch.

    Just a small thing - no curtains in the living area, just nets. It wouldn't stop me coming back.
