    Avoid if you are hiking Hadrians Wall.

    Fabulous location.

    The pub is closed for dinner Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. No breakfast available on Mondays and Tuesdays.

    Lovely country location in quality accomodation.

    Lovely location, great accomodation in large spacious room with very comfortable bed. Top quality restaurant food. Friendly staff.

    Disappointed everything closed don’t stay on a Monday and Tuesday

    Very disappointed Booked last minute on a no refund basis to find the pub was closed on Monday and Tuesday so there was no where to eat and we had to drive to Hexham for food No breakfast available as pub shut Would not have stayed if we had know before we booked Room nice but nothing else !! Felt tricked !!! And no one there to meet or greet or address our issues This information was not available on the advert before we booked Room nice

    We loved it & will go back.

    So clean, spacious room & en-suite, very comfortable beds & everything we needed was supplied. Beautiful setting only 10mins from Hexham town. Couldn’t fault it.

    People wrote in reviews about the train line at the back of the property, which there is but we only heard it when sitting outside not inside the property at all.
